Cycling ♥

Yes, as mentioned above, we went to cycling again!

But this time Swee Pin joined us =D

I'm starting to love cycling again.
It used to be my favourite activity when I was young.
(OMG! look how old I am now!)

she's either over-thinking, tired of waiting,

falling apart, crying inside or all of the above.

Again We Met

Again, JY and SS came to Klang this weekend.

And they even stayed overnight at my place for one night.

Luckily they did come, cause I was home alone this weekend.

Anyway, it was a very great and enjoyable weekend!

We planned to go for cycling since two weeks ago.

And now, we finally made it happened! =D

It has been a very long time since I last cycled.

I used to cycle every evening when I was young.

But the last time I cycled, I don't even dare to make a U-turn :O

Anyway, we went to Taman Pertanian in the early morning at about 10+ am.

Luckily there is a lot of trees to give us enough shade not to walk under the hot sun.

 We went to the bicycle rental stall but there were too many people booking.
So while we were waiting for our turn to get the bicycle,
we had a little walk inside the park.
Such a healthy lifestyle we had! :D

We were at the Skytrex area.
Lots of people playing flying fox at there!
OMG! I also want to play la but nobody seemed to be supportive :(

After taking the photo, we decided to head back to the rental stall.

Just in case we missed out our turn and need to wait for another turn.

Who knows when we got there, still got a long-listed names before us.

So we keep waiting, keep keep waiting~

After don't-know-how-long, we finally got our bikes!!!
See how spectacular they were!

We took a rest after cycling up a steep hill.

I was so exhausted after that, 

thinking why am I so stupid to 'try my very best' to cycle up the hill.

Kids that haven't grown up~

Inside the Four Season House.

Too bad it was under renovation so there's no beautiful scenery.

But it's still cold as usual~

It will be reopened at early August.
And if you go at that time, it will be summer :)

After cycling, we went to have our lunch at Fatty Mee Hun Kuih House.
They are famous for their mee hun kuih in soup. The shop is always full of people.
Well, I'm not a big fan of mee hun kuih in soup.
You guys can try it. Not bad though.

I like the fried ikan bilis XD

After lunch, we headed home to rest and gain energy for night's activity.
We planned to eat seafood dinner and watch fireflies at Kuala Selangor.
But due to it's weekend, and there will be lots of people,
the expensive ticket and the chances of getting to see fireflies because of the crowd,
we decided to cancel our plan :(
Kinda sad because I don't know when can I grab the chance to see the fireflies.
Anyway we still had our seafood dinner that night but it's located at Telok Gong.
We went to Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant, at Port Klang area.
Again, thanks to KC for always bringing us to eat nice food in Klang =D

Kampung-feel restaurant.

You must try their coconut flower wine (in the middle) so called 椰花酒.
It tasted like Sarawak's tuak but I think it's smoother than tuak.
My friend said it got a strong and weird taste but I think it's okay.
And that's why my friends say I'm alcoholic -.-
If you mix 椰花酒 with Guiness, then it tasted like Pepsi!

I don't know how to call it in Mandarin.
But they called it Lai Liu Ha in Hokkien.

Nice outing with them always.

Pirates of Carribean ♥

A one-day-trip to KL today.

We went to Midvalley to meet with Jie Ying and Siew Siah.

Heard of the nice decoration of Pirates of Carribean at Midvalley.

So I got my camera's battery fully charged to capture it =)

We went to watch "The Priest" since we had nothing to do.
Not as bad as I thought it was. I still can accept it =)
At least better than the Thai's ghost movie which they planned to watch at first.
Anyway after movie, we went Murni to have our dinner.
My first time went to Murni. 
It is a quite famous mamak with expensive food and crowds!!
The food is in big portion so it's quite worth the price if you visit there once in a blue moon.
Didn't get the chance to snap some photos because I was too shy for being so kampung-ish.
I enjoyed to be with you guys =)

I sometimes wonder why I even bother.

She was here

As promised, she did come to visit me and brought along her friend too.

So after I came back from church, we went to fetch them and brought them for lunch.

Jie Ying's so called GPS.

They wanted to visit the nearby Guan Yin Temple 

which is not so near if you walk to there.

They planned for a backpack travel at Klang anyway.

Funny her. Laugh out loud.

The temple is located at Jalan Dato Amar.

 We had Bak Kut Teh for our lunch. We ordered both dry and soup.
Tasted so so only. I prefer the first restaurant I went for Bak Kut Teh.

 And here we were at the temple.
First time entered a temple. Quite a big one.

We went to eat Chendol after visiting the temple.

We planned to go to Taman Pertanian to have cycling.

But too bad the time we reached there, it was closed.

We reached at 5pm and they closed at 4:30pm.

So no choice, we have to postpone it to other time.

Since the activity was cancelled, we decided to go to Northport to enjoy the sea view.

The place I went there once for the seafood dinner.

There is a ship loaded at there.
But I don't know the story behind it.

We climbed to the front of the ship.

And even acted as if we were the actors of Titanic.

This photo will be a nice memory after I've left here I suppose.

We planned to have our dinner at Restoran Boston Baru.
But after we got there, there were full of people and don't even have seats for us.
We couldn't wait for so long so we changed our mind to have Lok Lok.

Not bad. KC said I was lucky to have chance to try this
because there isn't much Lok Lok stall at Klang :D


A tiring day actually because of something.
But still thanks for coming.
Looking forward to the next meeting.
And we shall go for cycling!
Woot!

I don't know the key to success,
but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.

Working Saturday

As an intern at my working place, we have to work even on Saturday! 

But luckily we work alternately.

It's really tiring to have to wake up early for 6 days in a week.

For me, it's 7 days because I have to go to church on Sunday morning.

Anyway that's life, working life. I can't complain much :)

I had already worked on last Saturday. Today was my 2nd working Saturday.

We can choose any two Saturdays to work on.

Basically I have nothing to do. Last week I did 'house keeping' for lab.

Even my mentor also asked me why intern needs to work on Saturday.

Tell me why. I also want to know.

Today when the clock almost struck 1pm,
we were like primary students packed our things and couldn't wait to go home.
KC brought us to try the famous Duck Drumstick Noodle at Pun Chun Noodle House.

The drumstick's meat was really soft enough! It's really delicious.
And the herbal soup tasted just so yummylicious! You guys gotta try it out.
Thanks KC for always bringing us to eat nice foods at Klang.
Though my saving plan might fail, but I didn't regret to spend money on local food.
Because I might have not much chance to taste them anyway.
Tell me, will you miss the chance to taste the local foods at Taiwan if you were there?

Dinner at the Seashore

Today after work, KC brought us to have seafood as our dinner.
I was told that Klang isn't famous for Bak Kut Teh only but also seafood.
We went to Northport area and had our dinner on the seashore.
You can choose the seafood and decide the way you want them to be cooked.
Either steamed, sweet n sour, fried, baked and etc.
We chose fish, stingray and also sotong to be cooked in different way.

 The environment there was soothing :)

Taste nice though :)

I like the ambiance of the restaurant 
especially when you choose to sit somewhere nearer to the sea.
The sea breeze made me felt very calm and peaceful.
And the most important thing is that
there has no my biggest enemy, Miss mosquito!

no matter what is going on in my life.

Public Holiday

Today was public holiday as it's Wesak Day.
For the first time, I woke up late ever since I started my internship.
Not long after I woke up, Orleo called me and asked us out for lunch.
We went to eat the famous Mee Hun Kueh near my living area.
This is when I just knew that Mee Hun Kueh is actually the handmade pan mee.
I thought is some kind of kuih -.-
Anyway while waiting for the food to be served, 
I got a bad news from Kok Choon which is a good news for them.

They might be leaving me to have their internship at another company with better offer.
OMG! How am I going to settle my lunch without them bringing me? T.T
But seriously I'm sad to hear about the news.

Anyway Ka Chun was back from Malacca by bus in the afternoon. 
He is PBSM (Pelajar Balik Setiap Minggu) by the way.
So while waiting for his arrival, we went to have our tea break at 
Great Oil Stick 油炸鬼, which located at Setia Alam, Klang.
They sell different kind of flavor of You Zha Gui and fried biscuit. Lots of choices there.
We were there for tea break. That's why we didn't order much. Too bad though.

The ambiance is nice :)

We ordered both Yam and Pandan flavored fried biscuit.

I recommend the Yam flavor. Yummylicious ^^

Besides that we also ordered the famous Golden Roll, which is actually pisang goreng.

But it really tasted very nice! Not recommended for people who doesn't like sweet thing.
Too bad that I have no photo of it.
Have a try whenever you have a chance. A nice hang out place for teatime :)
